Vision
Due to the conservative and hierarchical cost-intensive organization (many links) of the supply chain in the automotive sector and especially in the aftermarket (automotive parts distribution) for many years, it is difficult to adapt to contemporary challenges. The aim of the IZI Motive project is to successfully demonstrate a new and innovative logistics concept for the automotive sector. Via an online platform, optimization of stock management and transport systems, the supply of parts to dealers and universal garages can be organized much more efficiently, resulting in enormous cost benefits. . This new logistics approach allows the industry to meet current customer expectations while contributing to government and EU policies on congestion and the environment.
IZI Motive believes in the total IZI process from scan to structural efficiency improvement.
 
Background
IZI Motive was founded by ing. Paul Spijkers. After years of experience in various management and executive positions at, among others, Philips, Compass Group, Vespo group and Autodistribution Nederland BV, Spijkers started his own consultancy and interim management organization in 2007. This company, in collaboration with various automotive partners and Eindhoven University of Technology, forms the basis of IZI Motive, a concept that offers innovative and practical solutions in the areas of parts management, purchasing, supply chain management, planning, inventory management and transport.
